Inside The Booth: Building Midnight Frequency

Every session for Midnight Frequency started the same way: lights down, one lamp on the console, and a single question -- does this frequency feel like 2am? We built the record around that feeling, layering warm analog synth pads under crisp digital percussion. This post breaks down the exact chain we used on the title track, from the vintage Moog into a tape saturation plugin, and why we kept re-recording the bridge until 4am on three separate nights.
